I will admit, I am a very "picky" eater. Prior to my lifestyle change, I did not drink smoothies, milkshakes, milk, etc..., however, I found myself falling in love with them and with juicing while on this journey. As my lifestyle changed, I had to become more creative with the foods I consumed based on my taste buds & on what my body needed. I "freestyle" everything I make, meaning I do not measure nor use recipes when making smoothies/juicing. I was gifted a Ninja which came with a book of recipes; although I do not use the recipes, the book has a chart that I found very helpful explaining certain properties of each fruit/veggie. For example what fruit/veggie adds sweetness, thickness, tartness, etc) . Smoothies are life savers when on the go, in between meals, for a snack, before/after workouts, etc. Juicing is very refreshing and is a good replacement for artificially sweetened/processed beverages.
